We are happy to announce that Smiles Nambour is now equipped with Digital X-ray System and its up and running!! This allows many benefits to patient, environment and information security.
With the upgrade we are now able to lower the already low dose of radiation exposure even further while the images are more diagnostic than ever. With this new equipment there is no need to use lead and chemicals for the processing (like the old style X-rays) that are to be disposed of. This means environmental friendly.
All the radiographic images are stored directly into the patient file on a computer so we can’t lose them or misplace them. It is also easy to transfer the images to specialist via email with encrypted files so that your information is safe and secure.
